Unlike factory vehicle lighting, off-road lights can be pivoted in any direction you choose to see down a sudden drop off, to the sides to see around switchbacks, or when you need to look up from a dip. Mount them low for rock crawling to see depth of ruts and holes where tires are about to travel, or on the rear of your vehicle for visibility turning around or when the only way out of a tough situation is backwards. 

When you’re ready to add off-roading lights to your baby, it’s best to begin with a good set for the roof. A strong lighting source from a high location allows you the knowledge to make better decisions on the trails. When thickets of vegetation appear that block your headlights, bright roof lights let you see over them to find out exactly how deep they are and what’s on the other side before deciding if maintaining the same course will pay off.
